During the morning hours several thunderstorms developed over the area. One such complex moved over Benton, Linn and Jones counties and at this hour is over the Chicagoland area. Right now a few scattered showers exist. One near Waterloo, another east of Algona and some in NW Iowa between Sioux City, Spencer and Storm Lake.
