A New Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued in effect until 9pm. The Counties included are as follows:
Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Harrison, Ida, Monona, Shelby, Woodbury, Audubon, Black Hawk, Boone, Bremer, Butler, Calhoun, Carroll, Cerro Gordo, Crawford, Dallas, Emmet, Franklin, Greene, Grundy, Guthrie, Hamilton, Hancock, Hardin, Humboldt, Kossuth, Marshall, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Tama, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Wright, Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek.

This includes the cities of Sioux City, Mason City, Waterloo, Fort Dodge, Ames and Marshalltown.
