As one round departs the state in a weakening stage, a “squall” line is moving into the northwestern part of the state. A New Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued until 1am in North Central and Northwest Iowa. New Warnings are being issued in northwestern and north central Iowa which will follow shortly. Heavy rain is likely with these storms as the storms earlier dumped as much as 2 inches of rain.
