All of Iowa

A Warm Day

Temperatures have risen this morning into the 30s and 40s across the state. A reading in the 50s is possible in SW Iowa this afternoon. Winds are gusty out of the south bringing the warmth northward, giving Iowa a break from the colder than average temps that have been the norm for the past few weeks. This will only last through tomorrow before a return to bitterly cold weather returns with a storm. There will be a lot of melting snow around and some standing water could refreeze tonight causing some slippery spots on roads.
