The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma is currently monitoring far northwestern Iowa, far southwestern Minnesota, southeastern South Dakota, and northeastern Nebraska for a potential Tornado or Severe Thunderstorm Watch by 4:00 p.m. this afternoon. Storms are already initiating in the area and are expected to pose a threat for large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado through tonight.
