SEMI-QUIET: Outside of a few showers across far southern Iowa today and early tomorrow, most of the state like yesterday will remain dry and cooler than this past weekend. Readings in the 60s and 70s will be commonplace over the rest of the week and into the upcoming weekend.

EASTER WEEKEND: Storm system on Saturday looks weaker with more isolated activity possible across the state. Amounts don’t look promising either especially in areas that really need it. Temperatures do cool off behind the front that we may end up seeing some frost and freeze conditions early next week, likely Tuesday morning before warming up again.

UNLUCKY DAY STORM: Storm is still on track for a week from Friday. The storm will bring a very good chance of showers and thunderstorms, some of which could become strong to severe. Decent rains will be expected by the looks of the last few days runs. Another storm the following Wednesday into Thursday looks not as intense as this one but could also be capable of producing shower and thunderstorm activity with some of them possibly becoming strong.
