The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory which goes into effect this evening and will last until Monday morning for most of the state. Wind chills are expected to drop to between -20° and -30° late tonight through tomorrow morning, with actual readings in the single digits and teens below zero. Winds will be diminshing throughout the night but with such low readings, any wind will easily bring the wind chills down to these dangerous levels. Wind chills will improve gradually through the morning hours, but another advisory is possible for Monday night and Tuesday morning as well.
