All of Iowa

Beginning to Feel a lot like December

The first flakes of snow have fallen across the state today. Rain and snow mix continues over the southern part of the state, while it is beginning to clear in western Iowa. Temperatures early this afternoon are still in the 30s to around 40, typical readings usually seen in the later part of November and early December. A VERY cold night is in store tonight with temperatures dropping into the lower to middle 20s. A few locations may drop into the upper teens. If that is the case, a few record lows may be possible Sunday morning. Another rain/snow mix is possible Sunday night into Monday, before a slow warmup begins next week. Temperatures will remain below average for the next week.
