The thunderstorm that barely scraped past Iowa City and was heading for Muscatine has weakened and an outflow boundary is now present east of the weakening storms into Illinois. Meanwhile the new storms have blossomed into a huge lightning producing cell that encompasses a number of counties in and around Ottumwa. This storm is moving east at 20-25 mph. This should move into the Sigourney and Fairfield areas by 12:45 AM.
