Final Report on Friday’s Event in Omaha
The thunderstorms that blew through the Omaha Metro Area and into SW Iowa produced winds upwards of a category 3 hurricane. Winds were estimated at between 110-115 mph in eastern Nebraska and up to 90 mph into Pottawattamie, Mills and Montgomery Counties in Iowa.
