Earlier I mentioned a possible funnel like cloud in Newton, well upon further review it was indeed a funnel cloud spinning above the Iowa Speedway at Newton Thursday evening. Tornado on the Ground NW of Fort Dodge
Trained spotters and law enforcement have spotted what they call a small tornado. This tornado was located between Clare and Barnum, about 10 miles NW of Fort Dodge. The tornado is said to be skipping or intermittently hitting the ground. The tornado is moving SE at 11mph.
