Interesting Goings On
The cell that was tracking across NW Iowa the last few hours has weakened significantly, however it has merged with the southern extension of the storms that have been producing torrid amounts of Severe Weather in Minnesota, including tornadoes. More counties have been dropped from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch. Those counties are Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Ida, O’Brien, Osceola. There will likely be more counties dropped soon as the storms have not materialized this evening.
Counties Dropped From Watch
The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has now been cancelled in the following counties: Plymouth, Sioux, Woodbury. This includes Sioux City. The boundary in which the storms have been trying to develop on has moved east of this area.
