* AT 1103 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS OF AROUND 60 MPH OR HIGHER. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR OAKLAND…OR 32 MILES EAST OF OMAHA…AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.
* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…AVOCA AND WALNUT.
THE WARNED AREA INCLUDES HIGHWAY 59 IN IOWA BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 48 AND 58.
