* AT 1053 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 11 MILES SOUTHEAST OF WINTERSET…OR 16 MILES SOUTHWEST OF INDIANOLA…AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…INDIANOLA…NORWALK…CARLISLE…PATTERSON…ST. MARYS…BEVINGTON…MARTENSDALE…CUMMING…SPRING HILL…ACKWORTH AND HARTFORD.
