Missouri River Flooding Update #2

Here is the latest update of the flooding ongoing across the Missouri River Valley.

At South Sioux City NE, the stage was 28.3ft at Noon today, Flood Stage is 30ft. It’s expected to go above flood stage on Sunday evening, and reach 32ft by Tuesday with additional rises further into next week.

At Decatur NE, the stage was 33.4ft at 1pm today. Flood Stage is 35ft. It’s forecast to go above flood stage on Monday and reach 36ft Tuesday. Further rises are possible.

At Blair NE, the stage was 28ft at 1pm today. Flood Stage is 26.5ft. It’s forecast to slowly rise for the next couple of days.

At Omaha NE, the stage was 29.2ft at 1pm today. Flood Stage is 29ft. It’s forecast to reach 30ft by Tuesday.

At Plattsmouth NE, the stage was 30.5ft at Noon today. Flood Stage is 26ft. The forecast is for the river to remain steady at this level over the next week.

At Nebraska City NE, the stage was 23ft at 1pm today. Flood Stage is 18ft. The forecast is for the river to remain steady around 23ft for the next week.
