WEEKEND: The holiday weekend looks to be warm with isolated chances of showers and thunderstorms. The main activity looks to take place late tonight into Saturday morning, Saturday evening into Sunday morning and late on Monday, but there could be a shower at anytime during the three day holiday. Not everyone will see rain everyday, nor will it be an all day rain, there will be plenty of sunshine to go around. Amounts will be between a half and one inch across the state during the holiday weekend.

JUNE HEAT: A large ridge still looks to set up as we head into the month of June, with the main storm track shifting well to the north of the state. This will lead several days of hazy hot and humid conditions. This will last through the first weekend of June and possibly into the middle of the following week, where a slight trough may beat the ridge over the central part of the country down. This could change in later runs however (with regards to the length of the possible heat wave)
