* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
VAN BUREN COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST IOWA…

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT.

* AT 406 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH…AND PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF CANTRIL…OR 11 MILES NORTHEAST OF MEMPHIS…AND MOVING NORTH AT 40 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
MILTON…BONAPARTE…BENTONSPORT/VERNON…KEOSAUQUA…
DOUDS/LEANDO…STOCKPORT AND BIRMINGHAM.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT WEDNESDAY EVENING FOR SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHWESTERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI.
