* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR…
SOUTHEASTERN IOWA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA…
CENTRAL JOHNSON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL IOWA…
NORTHEASTERN KEOKUK COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST IOWA…
NORTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST IOWA…
* UNTIL 500 PM CDT.
* AT 412 PM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
TWO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 60 MPH…AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL. ONE STORM WAS LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY NEAR WELLMAN…OR 14 MILES NORTHWEST OF
WASHINGTON. ANOTHER WAS BETWEEN WINDHAM AND FRYTOWN. BOTH STORMS
WERE MOVING MOVING NORTHEAST AROUND 40 MPH.

RICHMOND…KALONA…RIVERSIDE…TIFFIN…HILLS…CORALVILLE…
UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS…OAKDALE…UNIVERSITY OF IOWA…IOWA CITY AND
NORTH LIBERTY.
