WEEK AHEAD: Rain moves back into the state today into Tuesday with showers and isolated thunderstorms. Amounts will be light with a quarter to three quarters of an inch possible. Severe Weather will be well to the south and should not be a factor. Temperatures will be at or slightly below climatic averages for this time of year.
MAY STORM: The storm that was on yesterday’s video is there again today but in a much weaker state and further to the south. Still looks like a storm will be in the vicinity around mid week next week, but it’s still too early to determine where and strength it will be.
FLOODING: The Mississippi River has crested and is currently falling. It will be above flood stage through the week from Dubuque on downstream. Upstream from Dubuque, the river will be at or below flood stage by mid-late this week.
