The Mississippi River has now crested in Dubuque and will crest tonight in Bellevue. The river will continue to fall slowly upstream of Dubuque while the river will rise at least another foot to the south. The river crests will be downstream of Keokuk by Easter Sunday and the entire rive will be falling at that time. However this doesn’t take into consideration any more precipitation that is expected later this week and next week.

OTHER RIVERS: The West Fork Des Moines River at Humboldt and Estherville, the Des Moines River near Stratford, the Missouri River at Nebraska City NE, the Little Sioux River at Spencer and Linn Grove and the Big Sioux River at Akron and Hawarden continue in flood. The flood warnings will remain in effect at least through the weekend.
