THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH…WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* A MIX OF RAIN…SLEET AND SNOW TUESDAY AFTERNOON WILL BECOME ALL SNOW BY EARLY TUESDAY EVENING. SNOWFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR COULD OCCUR.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE…ALONG WITH A TENTH TO A QUARTER INCH OF SLEET.

* RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC LATE TUESDAY AFTERNOON COULD BE IMPACTED BY THE WINTRY MIX…WITH CONDITIONS DETERIORATING TUESDAY NIGHT. THE SNOWFALL COULD IMPACT THE WEDNESDAY MORNING COMMUTE AS WELL.
