Here is the latest river forecasts along the Mississippi River. The river should be cresting sometime tonight or during the overnight hours at Lansing (below flood stage) and at Lynxville WI (Moderate Flooding). The rest of the river will still rise slowly with crests taking place through next Saturday down as far as Muscatine. From there on down, the river will likely climb some more before hitting its crest in those locations. Also, this doesn’t take into consideration any rainfall that occurs during the next week, which could extend flooding or lead to secondary crests in areas that have crested.
