All of Iowa, Severe Weather

Severe Weather Continues

Many tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings this last evening and even continuing into the early morning hours. A tornado watch remains in effect across the far northern counties until 5am Sunday morning. There will be a break in the action before the final round of severe weather sweeps through the eastern half of the state with the cold front. All moders of severe weather will be possible with this as well, including large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. The main event still looks to be between 2-10pm roughly give or take. The storms should be moving out of the state around Midnight ending the threat and bringing quieter and cooler conditions to the state at that time.

NOTE: Again like last night, there will be NO posting of warnings on Sunday due to travel. The twitter feed on the blog will update warnings as needed.
