Moderate Risk for Sunday

Severe Weather Risk Saturday

Severe Weather Risk Sunday

This is going to be a significant weather event across the state this weekend. There is a slight risk of severe weather for Saturday for the entire state. This is possibly going to be upgraded to moderate later today. There already is a moderate risk of severe weather for Sunday across the eastern part of Iowa and surrounding areas, with a slight risk covering the rest of the state sans the Missouri River Valley. This “may” get upgraded to a high risk tomorrow or by Sunday depending on upcoming factors.

All modes of severe weather will be possible, including some that may be significant. The blog will have an update later today on the latest on this severe weather event. (I’m currently travelling at this time.)
