Many of these rivers will be under river flood warnings for quite some time. The Mississippi River won’t hit flood stage in the northeastern sections of the state for at least a week to ten days, and several more warnings downstream are likely to be issued as the water moves south. More snow fell in Minnesota and Wisconsin today in the Mississippi River basin, so more snowmelt and more flooding is likely there through the rest of March into April.
