The Return of Severe Weather

Severe Weather Threat Sunday

With the season of Spring officially beginning Sunday evening, the season will be welcomed with the possibility of severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center has issued a slight risk of severe weather for Sunday and Sunday night for the southern half of the state, mainly south of Interstate 80. The main threat looks to be large hail at this time. Storms will fire along a warm front near the Iowa Missouri border and move ENE. The farther north of the front they get the more elevated they’ll become and the less severe they will be.

There is another threat of severe weather on Tuesday as well, with a more potent system!
