PRECIP CHANCES: Chances of precipitation over the next week look rather minscule even though there will be several chances during the week, many of them will be slight. The first chance is on Thursday with a storm system moving through. Rain and or snow is possible with that with amounts possibly up to a quarter inch of liquid. Another chance rolls in Saturday with a developing low pressure system that will move just to the south and southeast of the state. Compared with the run 24 hours ago, this is closer to the state than that one, thus the southeastern sections could see some light snow with this one as readings will be cold enough for it. Light accumulations are possible.

MID-MONTH: Looking further into the month of March, it still looks quite active by the middle of the month, with several chances of precipitation as well. Warmer readings will be possible too, so chances of rain will outweight the chances of snow as time goes by.
