WARM TERRITORY: The latest GFS MOS data shows very warm temperatures predicted for tomorrow (if the fog burns off in time). Dubuque at 60°, Cedar Rapids at 63°, Waterloo at 64°, Des Moines at 65°, with the big winners being Shenandoah and Clarinda at the big 70°!

SUN-MON STORM: A storm will move into the state Sunday into early Monday bringing with it a plethora of precipitation to the state. Most of the state will start out with rain, but slowly from NW to SE, the precip will change to a mix and then all snow. The GFS is painting a swath of as much as 4-6″ across the northern counties of the state, but it’s too early to determine actual snowfall accumulations for another 36-48 hours.

Enjoy the warm weather today, it may not be this warm for a while. Have a good Thursday.
