Here is the latest road conditions across the state. Travel is now not advised in the central counties of the state around Des Moines and Ames. I-80 near Altoona was recently closed westbound along with the westbound right lane in Poweshiek county due to traffic accidents in relation to the blizzard. Outside of the main roads seen here, several county and secondary roads are beginning to drift shut now with more yet to come.
