There looks to be no end in sight for at least the next two weeks with regards to the cold weather that has been plaging the state this winter. The 18z GFS model run shows several cold air surges from the arctic over the next two weeks, each with bouts of some light snow over the area. One godsend this month has been the lack of snowfall over most of the state (except the far west). This looks to continue as little if any snow is forecast to fall over the state through the end of the month into the first week of February, but things could change, and maybe for the better.
