A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect across the northwestern counties of the state through the overnight hours of Monday morning. This is in regards to some sleet, snow and freezing rain that is currently falling in the area. Although amounts will remain light, generally under a tenth of an inch. Travel will and has become impacted across the area. The advisory is in effect until 2am Monday morning in Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth and Woodbury counties and until 4am Monday morning for Osceola, Dickinson, O’Brien, Clay, Cherokee, Buena Vista and Ida.
