A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 3:15 for Jackson County in East Central Iowa. Thunderstorms have developed on the wind shift line in NE Iowa. From Marquette to West Union to Sumner. Another storm was located near Iowa Falls. These storms will continue to develop and may become severe in the upcoming few hours. The anvil from the storms near West Union can be seen 60 miles to the south. Other showers continue in SE Iowa south of Interstate 80, these storms are not severe. A new watch may be issued shortly in eastern Iowa.
