Lots of action is taking place this morning. A Severe Thunderstorm watch remains in effect from US Hwy 20 on northward. This is in effect until Noon. A Dense Fog Advisory remains in effect in SE Iowa, mainly around the Burlington area. This is in effect until 11am.
At a few minutes before 10am, radar indicated a very large complex of thunderstorms moving into northern Iowa. The strongest part of the storm was located along a line extending from Decorah to New Hampton to Hampton. There is some scattered rain showers that extend further west to Fort Dodge. This is part of the MCS mentioned earlier this morning that was in North Dakota. These storms are racing E-SE at 45-50 mph.
