Another Storm On the Horizon

The next storm is waiting in the wings as it will swoop into the state later tomorrow. The western sections of the state will see light snow beginning in the late morning hours with the rest of the state getting into the action by mid to late afternoon. The heaviest snowfall will likely occur during the overnight hours of Sunday night and Monday morning, with it finally tailing off late on Monday. Snowfall accumulations from this storm are likely to be close to the last one as was mentioned in the previous post, with 2-5″ possible across mainly the northern parts of the state. North of US Hwy 20 will experience the heaviest snows. There will be a break in the weather at mid-week before another snow storm moves in right before Christmas.
