A No Snow Weekend

This weekend, the last one before Christmas will have nearly no chance of snow. Temperatures will still be below average for the middle of December with highs generally in the 20s, with lows in the single digits and teens. There will be more clouds in the sky Sunday than on Saturday ahead of the next snow storm that will move into the state late Sunday night into Monday. That storm will be similiar to the last one that moved through, with 2-5″ of snow possible. Early indications show the heaviest snow will be in the northern part of the state once again, near where the heavy snow band was for this last storm system. As always things will change in the later forecast runs. Another snow storm will move in Thursday and Friday of next week as well but Christmas Day (next Saturday) will be mostly sunny and cool as of this moment.
