Blizzard Conditions Moving East

The latest radar image shows a swath of snow, some of it heavy across the northern counties extending into the central and SW sections of the state. Along with this snow, are the strong gusty winds creating the blizzard conditions across the state. This will continue moving into the eastern counties over the next few hours, with several inches possible with this band as it moves through. Winds will being picking up in the eastern counties to near 40-50mph, with sustained winds in the 30mph range. Temperatures which are in the 20s now will begin dropping into the upper single digits by early morning. Even after the snow ends, the wind will continue to create blizzard conditions for the rest of Sunday as well.
