Cold Wintry Week

This coming week will feature a lot of cold weather, a lot of sunshine with a few clouds and a few chances of snow. First off, temperatures, readings will be cold to being the week, especially in the snow covered locations where highs may struggle into the lower 20s Monday and Tuesday, while the rest of the state will see mid-upper 20s to the lower 30s. Readings will climb through the week peaking Thursday and Friday in the upper 20s in snowpack to near 40 SW. There is a chance of some light snow with little accumulation possible on Thursday. A much larger potent system is expected to move through beginning late Friday night through Saturday (sound familiar), with a decent chance of accumulating snows throughout the state. it’s too early to determine snowfall amounts 5 days out as yet. Following this storm, another batch of arctic weather will move in with lows possibly heading below zero by early next week.
