Freezing rain and sleet will continue across the northern sections of the state this afternoon and tonight before the precipitation ends. The Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6pm for NW Iowa, and Midnight in NC and NE Iowa. Although the amounts of ice won’t be that much, it’ll be enough to cause a coating of ice especially on the less traveled roads, bridges and overpasses.
