The south wind has begun in the western part of the state. Winds Gusting to near 30 mph. Temperatures at 4pm were in the lower to upper 80s with dew points from the mid 50s to the lower to mid 60s. A round of thunderstorms is expected to develop in southern Minnesota this evening and may move into the northeastern part of the state by sunrise. Tomorrow afternoon more thunderstorms are expected as a cold front moves in from the north. A slightrisk of severe weather is expected throughout the entire state on Wednesday.
