A High Wind Warning remains in effect through this evening for areas north of I-80 with a wind advisory to the south. Winds have been gusting well over 50mph all day across the state. Along with the strong gusty winds, there has also been some wintery precipitation seen as well across northwestern Iowa. A few snowflakes have been flying in Spencer, Estherville and Sheldon today. This will last through the evening hours before the precipitation should end. There will be NO accumulation. It will remain breezy on Thursday but not as bad as the last two days. Temperatures will really tumble Friday morning under clear and calm skies. Lows Friday morning may drop into the upper teens in a few of the colder valley locales.
