Severe Weather Returning for Saturday

Severe Weather Threat for Saturday
There is a slight risk of severe weather for most of the state for Saturday and Saturday night. This will be mainly south of a Prairie Du Chien to Sioux City line. The main threats will be from large hail and damaging straight line winds. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out especially in the southwestern sections of the state. This is a complex situtation as there will be a lot of cloudiness in the state tomorrow which will limit any thunderstorms from developing, however if skies clear during the midday/ early afternoon hours, there will be a chance for thunderstorms to develop and for them to become severe. This is also a very dynamic storm system, one we’ve haven’t seen a few months. More on this will be posted later tonight or tomorrow morning when the new Day 1 outlook is posted.
