The abnormally dry streak across the state will likely end this weekend with a good chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms this weekend. Some rainfall could be heavy in areas that recieve a thunderstorm, otherwise rainfall will remain generally under a half inch or so. This would great news given the dry streak we’ve been experiencing over the last 3 weeks. Several counties have burn bans in effect and there have been reports of a few fires in relation to the harvest. Along with the chances of rain, temperatures will cool off as well. Highs this weekend will remain in the 50s with lows in the mid-upper 30s to around 40. More on this forecast will come in the forecast video that should be posted late tomorrow night or early Friday morning.
