Forecast models are beginning to show a possible turn to winter weather over the state late next week. A large storm system is forecast to move thorugh the midwest at the middle to end of the week. Enough cold air will pour on the northwest side of the storm which will cause the precipitation to change over from rain to snow in some parts of the midwest. It’s too early to say for certain whether or not this pans out or how much snow will actually fall and where, but it’s beginning to be that time of the year.
