For the first time in over two weeks, showers and isolated thunderstorms are moving through the state this afternoon. Some of the storms may produce some small hail, but severe weather is not antcipated with any of the storms this afternoon and evening. The storms are currently along a line extending from Monona in northern Clayton county to Marshalltown to east of Clarinda. They are moving to the east. Rainfall will be light, with many locations receiving less than a quarter of an inch. Strong northwesterly winds will follow the storms as the cold front in which these storms have fired along continues to move through the state. Temperatures tomorrow will be back to seasonal levels with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s.
