Continued Dry and Warm

The same old weather pattern that has been going for a week and a half now, will continue through the rest of this week into the weekend, before a chance of rain moves back into the state. Temperatures this week will continue to stay above the seasonal averages with highs in the 70s to lower 80s with nighttime lows in the 40s and 50s. Rain will move into the state on a scattered basis Sunday and into Monday and again on Tuesday. Temperatures at mid-week, next week will head back down to the seasonal average of mid to upper 60s at that time.

Flooding continues along the West Fork Des Moines, Big Sioux, Little Sioux and the Mississippi rivers in the state. This will continue through the weekend before many of the rivers will fall below flood stage.
