* AT 202 AM CDT…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING PING PONG BALL SIZE HAIL. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED 6 MILES EAST OF ELLIOTT…OR 50 MILES NORTH OF TARKIO…AND MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE…MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF EASTERN MONTGOMERY COUNTY.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MILES PER HOUR…DESTRUCTIVE HAIL…DEADLY LIGHTNING…AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.
