Fall like air has moved into the state along with the showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. The cold front is just south of the state as evidenced by the warm temperatures in Kirksville and Quincy IL where it is in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Temperature differences like this will be common with this front in the area over the next few days. Temperatures could be 20-30° warmer or cooler depending on the position of the front, cloudiness, rain and any sunshine that may peak through the clouds.
