Summer vs Fall

It will be a battle over the state for the next couple of days between the waning days of summer and the approaching fall season as a front will be draped across or near the state through early next week. Dependent on what side of the front you will be, will determine the weather as well. North of the front, temperatures will be rather cool with readings in the low 60s, with even some places not getting out of the 50s on Saturday. Rain will be scattered around all weekend into early next week, but it won’t be an all day rain, so outdoor plans should not be changed. Monday, the front is forecast to move back to the north with summery weather returning along with highs back in the upper 70s and lower 80s. This will also bring a chance of thunderstorms back into the frame as well.

The forecast is very fluid at this time, and forecasts could change wildly depending on where the front is on what day. It will be a roller coaster of weather through midweek before temperatures and the pattern finally level out near seasonal averages at that time.
