Looks like a stormy end to the work week today, with numerous showers and thunderstorms traversing the eastern counties of the state. This will likely lead to some late starts to some of the football games later this evening. The storms could be strong but aren’t expected to be severe at this time. Some brief heavy rainfall is possible along with some gusty winds up to 30-40mph. This batch of storms will be out of the state by late this evening with another batch expected overnight into the early morning hours on Saturday. The FB games and tailgating should not be effected.
