Rain and Wind from Hermine on the way

It’s looking like the end of the week will be quite rainy and breezy across the state with remnants of Tropical Storm Hermine moving slowly NE toward the state. Chances of showers and thunderstorms will begin to increase Thursday and last through into Friday night so some high school football games will be quite soggy. Some of the rain will be heavy at times, but flooding is not likely at this time, but watches could be issued later today if the need warrants. The rest of the weekend will be dry with abundant sunshine and temperatures in the 70s. A Football Forecast Video will be made Thursday and posted at that time to detail any changes that may arise between now and then.
